Bruce Arnett, Sr., Appointed to Board
ICA Names New Board Members
Chicago, IL — The International Carwash Association named the newest additions to its Board of Directors on Sept. 9.
After much deliberation, the association chose James Belanger, Lisa Lyons, Bruce Arnett, Sr. and Laurie Sherman to complete the 2003/2004 Board of Directors.
Belanger, who joined Belanger Inc. in 1990, is the vice president of sales for the Michigan based carwash equipment manufacturer.
For 16 years, Lyons has been a co-owner and operator of six self-service carwashes in the San Diego area. She has spent five years on the Western Carwash Association Board of Directors, with one year as treasurer. She is also a member of Modern Car Care’s Executive Advisory Board.
Arnett’s experience in the car care industry stems from his three businesses: Carnetts Car Wash; Carnetts Franchise and American Carwash Equipment and Supply Company.
He served on the ICA education committee for two years and was a board member for SECWA. He was also a member of the SECWA education committee and served as chair in 2002.
Sherman, the current president of Blendco Systems, LLC, has previous experience as management consultant for Deloitte Touche and finance experience at The New England. She has also served as marketing director for FMC.
